Charlotte Wetzel
My parents met in 1995. My Mom, from France, was studying at a local college* Before I was born, January 7, 1997 at 7pm They had a little boy, named Maxime, my brother. He was born prematurely on January 31st, 1996 and died on the same day. When I was conceived, several months after, my Mom had to be bed-rested for a couple of months, she had to have many surgeries and got many complications, but I was finally born very healthy.
I had a normal baby life, you know: eating, sleeping, crying I sat on my own at 7 months, got my first tooth at 10 and walked at 15. I loved chocolate, yogurt and bananas! In March 97, my Mom went back to work part-time so Renee was watching over me. I had a lot of fun with her and her kids. But it was kind of far from my house, on the way to my Mom work-45 minutes-I did not like to be in the car that long twice a day, would you? Anyway, last July my Aunt, Mistelle (14) came and spent the all summer with us, it was hot in Monroe but we did a lot of stuff. My Grand-Ma from France, even flew over to stay with us for a couple of weeks. We went to Oregon, I really enjoyed Daddy's new truck Then, summer was over and everybody went back home. In November 1997, I went on a big vacation in Europe with Daddy & Mommy. In a nutshell we saw: France, Germany, England, and lot of people that wanted to hold me and kiss me all the time the Eiffel Tower, the channel tunnel train, the Black Forest and many, many other great things Well, that's what you call a great trip! Then it was Christmas. I got spoiled of course, I even got my very own Christmas tree, that is planted in the Cemetery where I rest. The rest of my life is short, you know it by now. I started day-care in Monroe at Robin Johnson's house in January of '98. On June 3rd, 1998, she killed me. My funeral was on June 11, I am resting at Floral Hills cemetery in Lynnwood, WA.
My parents have a lot of friends and family who are supporting them very much, they even met new people since my death and became friends with them. Well, now that you know a little bit more about my short life, I am glad. Please remember me as a happy toddler who understood both French & English, loved flowers, birds and the Moon. I love you all, see you later. Charlotte Wetzel*Update : Due to my murder, my parents are now divorced. |
