Welcome To The Charlotte Wetzel Foundation!

We are dedicated to reducing abuse to children, by educating parents and people to the symptoms of child abuse. Each year, more and more children lose their lives to abuse. In January of 97, we were blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Charlotte. In June of '98, Charlotte died by a heavy blow to the abdomen from her day care provider, Robin Johnson. Robin did confess to the local police and is now in prison serving a 20 year sentence.

In an effort to raise awareness, we have developed this site to help educate people to the signs of abuse. As you are combing through the site, you can read news stories about parents and children who are victims of abuse. Visit our Guestbook to read or post comments and stories. You can also join our mailing list to get updated information about our organization. We have also added a page dedicated to children who have died from abuse. In 1999, every month, we will be featuring children that died from abuse. In the next 6 months we will be featuring Eli Creekmore, Kierra Harrison, Benjamin New, Jesse Hunt, & Kyle Thies.
